Driver Education Segment 1 Classes
Classes are at the TSA location in Fraser
You must be at least 14 years and 8 months old by the first day of class.
Information:
Consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction, over 3 weeks
Classes are typically held Monday through Thursday, but can vary depending on holidays.
Includes 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction
Students are required to complete 6 hours of driving in a dual-controlled, instructor-occupied vehicle, as well as 4 hours of rear seat observation.

Driver Education Segment 2 Classes
All Segment 2 classes are held at the TSA location in Fraser.
Consists of 6 hours of classroom instruction over 3 days.
Requirements:
Must have completed Segment 1 (at any location).
Have completed 30 hours of “behind-the-wheel” drive time including 2 hours of night driving, with parents or guardian.
Must have permit for 3 consecutive months from the date it was issued by Secretary of State
Note that student’s driver license from their permit is required on the registration form, as per the state of Michigan.
