Segment 1 is the first phase of driver education and helps students begin learning the rules of the road and basic driving skills. Students must be 14 years old and 8 months at the time of class.
Segment 2 can be taken after the student has had their level 1 permit for 3 months, and has completed 30 hours of supervised driving, including 2 hours at night. This class focuses on building safer driving habits after the student has gained behind-the-wheel experience.

Students from all areas are welcome to take driver education classes at Traffic Safety Authority.

Most classes are held in our building in Fraser. The only exception is for Roseville District students, Segment 1 classes are available to take at Roseville High School.

Adult driver training is for anyone 18 or older who may be looking to learn how to drive , get a driver’s license, or just improve their skills. These are private lessons and you can choose how many hours you would like. There is also a discount for previous TSA driver training students.
