This 4-hour National Safety Council class is designed to deal with young people ages 15-24. The class focuses on Behavior, Judgment, Consequences, and Positive Decision Making. It will help young adult drivers recognize that they are more likely than anyone else to be injured or killed in a vehicle crash. Identified the 2 types of driving hazards, poor judgment and the unnecessary risks young adult drivers take in a vehicle. Shows young adults that they have control in most driving situations; also identified the steps they can take to gain and keep control, whether they are a driver or a passenger. Encourages the commitment to changing driving behavior.
